Heart palpitations from hyperthyroidism and graves disease?

by Duchess47, Jul 14, 2005 12:00AM
I have been diagnosed with graves diseas and hyperthyroidism.  I have been on medication for over 3 yearsnow and it is within the normal range.  Recently, I have developed heart palpitations and some tacchycardia.  Can this be related to the Graves?  Even if thyroid tests are within normal range?

Thank you

Yeah it can, but if they dont subside in a week or so you should call your doctor. I get what I would call more of heart flutters. It feels like butterflies in my heart instead of my stomach and I am hypo. Everytime my meds are changed I get them quite often.
