High Iron a concern on Armour for Hashimoto's?

by liazmom, Apr 04, 2007 12:00AM
SHould elevated iron be of concern? Is this due to Armour? I'm on 150mg once in the AM. DX hypothyroid and experienced anxiety, cold, dry, tingling extremities before treatment one year ago. Have a HX of prolactinoma and joint pain & grandparent with severe rheumatoid arthritis.
My sister and I both have hx of red upper chest...??

Thanks much

High iron is not due to thyroid/armour -- consider asking to be tested for hemochromatosis.

I never had high iron before and after using armour my iron is slightly high. I thought it might be related.
Thanks
