Hypo/hashi - tingling feet and sometimes body

by Auto2005, Jun 23, 2007 12:00AM
Hello, I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's hypothyroid a couple of months ago. I'm now taking 75mcg of synthroid. My TSH has come down to 5.3 but I still have tingling in my feet throughout the day and sometimes when I'm in bed at night I feel tingling in one or both shoulders and definitely in my back. I've been to an orthopedist who said no back/disk problem.  Should I be concerned about the tingling I feel in my body while I'm in bed and feet throughout the day? Could it be caused by my thyroid/hashi and TSH still being too high?  (I'm also constipation and absent-minded lately. I'm female 40, NOT in menopause yet!) Thank you.

TSH is still too high and this may be the issue with feet tingling.  Would also test a B12 level at some point.

TSH should be around 1 but under 2. 5 is still very high!
