Levothyroxine 150 mg

by RA1, May 25, 2007 12:00AM
I started take levothyroxine 150 mg. on Thursday. First week I started to take 1/4 tab a day. I have a 1/4 tab leftover end of the week. 2nd week I will take 1/2 tab a day. 3 week will take 3/4 tab a day. Then after once a day. What if I have a tablet leftover on each week?

Would not worry about one leftover tablet with this type of titration.  Sounds like you are slowly moving towards 150mcg/day -- stick with that goal and discard any extra 1/2 or 1/4 tablets you may have once you get to a whole tab/day.

I hope that answers the question.
