I have had my throid totally removed over twenty years ago, I was on Synthroid 100mcg then,After about a month of that I was feeling bad and stop taking it every day. I was taking one a week at anytime of the day. I was feeling great for all those years doing it that way. Then I had gotten flu like symtoms one time last year and the Doctor wanted to check my TSH levels and it came back over 100. So he insisted I started taking it every day as directed. So  I have been for almost a year now.And I have felt horriable ever since. My TSH is now around 2-1 and been that way for months, being on 175 synthroid. I told the Doctor I had felt some better when TSH was at 10 months ago. Well he told me he does not practice on symtoms but on Labs. I asked to be switched to Levoxol to see if I would feel better on the supplement. He insisted no, Stay on the Brand Synthroid.
Levoxol desolves almost instant in water and would realease into my systom faster, as Synthroid will take almost two hours to desolve. My thing is this drug makes me feel bad and need to change. What would happen if I switch to different brand, Would my levels change and have to adjust all over again.

You may need to adjust again if you switch brands, but I have some patients who do better on one brand than the other so it may be worth a try.
