I’m a 26 years old male. On May 2005 I was diagnosed with
GravesGraves disease disease and following 2 doctors recommendation I had the
radioactiveRadioactive iodine uptake pill on Nov 2005 and now having underactive thyroid. Since then, I had many symptoms some of them disappeared after started talking
LevothyroxineLevothyroxine
Levothyroxine sodium on Feb 2006, however, I still have some of them, and most importantly having a low libido drive” for that I’m using
CialisCialis which is working so far”, and I’m not having fun on almost %80 of the stuff I used to like, feeling depressed and stressed, lost my apatite, always ready to cry.
I just checked my
TSHPituitary and tsh
Tsh,
T3, T4, testerone levels and everything is perfect.
Please help me, your advice is very appreciated.
Have you had your b12 checked?
Actually, I'm on generic, please let me know if some of these symptoms might be caused by this, I really don't care about how much the medication cost.
Regarding the B12, no I have never taken this test. What is it for?
Thank you again..
I only mention your B12 because apparently mine was low (I have pernicious anemia/autoimmune) and I wonder if that has caused more of my symptoms than my thyroid. Again, I am new to this myself.
I hope you feel better. Keep us posted.
We are going on 2 years since the RAI and probably close to 3 years since our initial symptoms started.
I will tell you that exercise does make me feel better. And by exercise, I mean walking a mile at a moderate to brisk pace and just work your way up from there. I make sure I exercise when I am having a good day and I feel stronger and more confident after.
One thing I have learned thru all of this is that YOU are your greatest health advocate and you must educate yourself on Grave's Disease and now being hypo. Stand up for yourself w/ your doctor and you will start to feel better!!
