PVC's are not likely due to thyroid unless the dose is too high (ie,
TSHPituitary and tsh
Tsh too low -- usually < 0.2).
With the nodule being "susp for FN" this means about 20% chance cancer, and surgery is needed to make the diagnosis. Usually this would be a left lobe removal, and if cancer is diagnosed, you would go back to remove the right. In some cases, the patient elects to have the whole thyroid removed at the initial surgery - particularly if you already are committed to life-long thyroid meds.
Removing the thyroid sometimes helps with regulating levels.
