Hi,,,I've been on 137mcgs of Synthroid for about 10 months. What are the symptoms of having the thyroid over suppressed?  Thankyou.

They are the same symptoms of hypERthyroidism -- ie palpitations, anxiety, insomnia, heat intolerance, etc....

we found out in december that my husband has been being overtreated for hypothyroid for 3 years, and he was hyperactive for the past few months as his meds were increased even more, but then he "crashed". his symptoms since then have been very much like hypo. his doctor wanted to give him even more meds but luckily the endo recognized this problem and we have his thyroid balanced out for the first time in 3 years. so just so you are aware that sometimes being overmedicated can feel like being hypo. your tsh should be .3 to 3 and my husbands had been .01 to .06. we still don't know why the doctor kept him this low, he only says that they take tsh down to 0 and it's fine. we have switched doctors. my husband still doesn't feel good though, very fatigued, he has a high acth and not cushings, dr. doesn't know why. any comments? he had been off work for 7 months and feels terrible!
