Palpatations and Low BP while on Synthroid

sine I started synthroid (.075) I have been getting heart palpatations and actually had to stop my BP meds becasue my BP went low...I was averaging 130/80 with meds and now, even without meds, I am averaging 90/50..has anyone else experienced this?

I started with heart palpitations when I went on synthroid.  My dosage was just currently increased to .05 mg.  I've been to a cardiologist and had all the tests done and I am told that the palpitations are harmless...which I find very hard to believe.  It doesn't make them any less scary either.  The only time my palpitations went away was when my dosage was decreased to 1/2 a tablet of .025mg, but then my TSH sky rocketed to 35.  In the beginning I was on the generic form of synthroid and my palps. were really bad.  The Dr. has since switched me to name brand and it did seem to help somewhat.  But I am waiting for them to increase again with my dosage change.  As for my blood pressure, I didn't notice anything because I have always had low BP.

Could just be me, and I seem to be a rare case after reading all of your posts, I had the heart palpitations, you think with common sense that your dose must be too high, that's what I assumed, but it's backwards.  When I start having the heart palpitations, I need to have my dose upped. They go away every time.  I think YOu backed off when you should have went the other direction, that's why you noticed your TSH went out of whack. I know everyone is diffent, and not everything works the same for everyone, but I have those heart racings, when my dose is too low.  Just a thought.
