Question about meds

Hi Doctor~

You have helped me before.  Thank you.  Is it ok to take Synthroid before bedtime instead of the morning?  And would the TSH be the same whether am or pm?  Also, what do you like the ferritin level to be at?  Thank you.

by Mark Lupo, M.D., Apr 20, 2007 12:00AM
yes, just be consistent - and the TSH can be measured anytime.

Ferritin -- tough question but I have seen some reports favoring >70

A ferritin level of 70-90 should be goal.
