Question about my US

I had TSH low 4 month ago 0.15 and FT4 is 1.53, so my doc ask for a US and blood test again this time, here is my result:

US:
right lobe: 4.9*1.6*2 cm,  left lobe: 4.9*1.6*2cm. The isthmus: 0.2cm in AP thickness. The thyroid echotexture is mildly heterogeneous. There is a 4 mm hypoechoic, solid nodule at the inferior pole of right lobe which is prominently vascular. A 3 mm cyst is present at the superior pole left lobe. A 3mm complex nodule is present at midpole and is mild vascularity. No focal lesions are identified within the thyroid gland. No enlarged lymph nodes are identified adjacent to the thyroid gland.

IMPRESSION: Mildly enlarged and heterogenous thyroid

blood:
TSH: 0.3
FT4: 0.95

Other BUN Creatinine GFR are nomal, but Potassium is a little low 3.3

My doctor seem not concern with my nodules or potassium at all just ask me come back 3 months to do a blood test again. My question is: the vascular nodules are bad? what is heterogenous mean? and does my potassium low  related to the thyroid problem?  Do I need to do US again to monitor the nodules?

Low potassium is not likely related to your thyroid.
The small nodules should be monitored - repeat ultrasound in 6 months.
The slighly low-normal TSH should be retested in 3 months as suggested.
Overall, this is a low-risk situation.  Many nodules have increased vascularity and that is not specific for cancer.
