Rice Krispie-Joints

I've already posted a question about joint pain but now want to ask a joint related again but having to do with popping, crunching sounds. Even my jaw-joint does this but I don't beieve it is the TemporoMandibular Syndrome because I don't have pain in my jaw. Plus, the crunchy sounds are in a lot of joints, mostly upper body (especially upper-spine). Do any of you have Rice Krispie sounds in your joints? I have been concerned about this for several years and found little info. about it. I know Ostearthritis can cause this but I really believe it is related to the Hashimoto's. It is not from my medication because I remember this happening at least a couple years before being Dx'ed with Hashi's. I also know this happens with R.A. but I don't have swelling or redness of joints and the joint aches are actually some better since dosage increases.
Thanks for your thoughts on this.

Before I was diagnosed with a thyroid condition, I went to the doctor for knee pain. The pain felt like water swishing and sounded like it too. They took an xray and said I had rheumatoid arthritis. My jaw also makes all kinds of noise when I chew, esp chocolate (just a joke) Anyway, they put me on cruches for a week and the pain didnt go away until I started taking thyroid meds. They even had me on bextra, scary to think about now. While, the jaw still makes all kind of popping sounds, with no pain, the knee hasnt bothered me since.

Thanks again for the quick reply. I think these strange symptoms makes us think we have something rare, when most people with the same condition are experiencing the same. Sometimes the crunching sounds are almost sickening when for instance, I'm simply rolling over in bed. Even my wife has been amazed at how much sound they make. I just got through finding the name for crunchy joints "Crepitus".
Your chocolate joke caught me by surprize and I almost fell off my computor chair! I really needed that laugh today!
