What does this mean to me?
Is there any difference in the way hypo is treated?
Is there a danger or anything else to know?
My latest results are,
cholesterol 237 (0-199)
triglyc 102 (0-149)
hdl cholesterol 52 (35-60)
ldl 165 (0-100)
TSH 15.52 (.35-4.94)
FT4 .67 (.70-1.48)
T4 direct 1.17 range .61 - 1.76
T3 uptake 30 range 24-39
ThroidPeroxidase (TPO) Ab 41 High 0-34
Antithyroglobulin 3182 High Range 0-40

Your have hypoththyroidism due to hashimotos -- the immune system is attacking the thyroid -- this is the most common cause of hypo and is treatable with thyroid hormone replacement.
