After my TT, the radiologist made an error and didn't give me the proper dose of RAI. I'm in the 6 month waiting period to see if I will need another treatment. My previous endo said the thyroglobulin would be the indicator as to whether or not I'd need a second treatment. On 9/28 (four weeks post RAI, before starting levothyroxin
(levothyroxineLevothyroxine
Levothyroxine sodium)) my labs were:
Thyroglobulin 31 ng/ml
TSHPituitary and tsh
Tsh 76.48
FT4 <0.15.
Today I got my next labwork back and my levels are now
Thyroglobulin 0.4
TSHPituitary and tsh
Tsh 0.10
FT4 1.2
I'm not sure if these are 'good' results or not? I'm also curious as to all the controversy regarding
synthroid vs. generic. I'm on levothyroxin
(levothyroxineLevothyroxine
Levothyroxine sodium), but am wondering if I should request
synthroid? I've only been on it for about 2 months...I don't have a chance to see my new endo until March, so I'm just looking for any feedback. Thanks!
