Thyroid Peroxidase

I just had my first comprehensive thyroid blood test after a nodule showed up on ultrasound, and the Perixidase test shows an out of range result of 152 . It appears that the range should be <35 IU/ml. My Dr. didn't seem to be worried about this, saying it might have been something I had when I was 5 years old. But I've been catching one virus after another, since August last year (urgent care twice), and it takes me 3 weeks to get better each time. He says the results have nothing to do with the autoimmune problem, such as catching every virus out there ( I wasn't that way at all). The T4 Fee is 0.9, TSH 3rd gen. is 2.50 and Free T3 is 264, which seem fine. Should I be concerned about the 152 result? Thanks.

The TPO antibody reflects an immune system attack on the thyroid and would not account for any susceptibility to viruses or colds.  The TSH is 2.5 - which is normal but most likely you have Hashimoto's with an increased risk for developing hypothyroidism in the future.
