Thyroid levels and pregnancy

I recently had a TSh becuase I am going through the cycle of becoming a surrogate.  My level was 0.25 and I was told the range was 0.4-4.0.  Should this level prevent the transfer from embryos or harm it or the baby?  Should we ask for more test and medication to regulate?

A slightly low TSH should not be a significant problem -- would repeat labs along with thyroid antibodies -- Would not recommend meds to 'normalize' a minimally low TSH in this setting.  Also test free T4/T3.

I am 7 weeks pregnant and have tested for TSH @3.8 ( prior to pregnancy i was 0.6) I am on 100mg of levothyroxine. Although my level is within normal range by uk standards (0.5-5.5) I have read reports that state optimum TSH should be below 2.0 for a healthy pregnancy. I miscarried in Dec with a level of approx 6.4 and am concerned about my current pregnancy. How can I convince my GP to increase my levothyroxine if she refuses to as I am within her 'normal'range.
