from hypo to hyper

Thank you for reading this.
After first daughter became hypo (four years ago.) Had second daughter three months ago and have become hyper. I did not know I became hyper and started experiencing awful joint pain while taking synthroid. Since I found out about being hyper...I haven't taken synthroid in three weeks. I felt on top of the world. Now I am having circulation problems, pain in toes and bottom of feet. Stiffness in back of ankles. Pinchy feelings in back of legs. Tingly feelings in feet and legs at times.
Is this from my thyroid? And is there a chance I will go back to hypo? Could I have adrenal problems?
I read that autoimmune disorders can cause poor circulation and I thought hyperthyroid was autoimmune disorder. But I asked endo if circulation could be from hyperthyroid and she said no. Don't know what to do. Any help appreciated.

There are situations where one goes from hypo to hyper but it is uncommon.  After the recent pregnancy, you could have developed thyroiditis where there is a transient hyper -- usually you would go back to hypo within 3 months or so.  There is also a condition some call "hashitoxicosis" where a patient can go back-n-forth from hypo to hyper due to different immune system attacks on the thyroid.

The key here is to monitor closely off synthroid -- thyroid labs every 4 weeks until things stabilize.  Circulation issues could be due to changes in thyroid status.  Also potassium, calcium and magnesium deficiencies can cause your symptoms.

Hello. I am hyper. I definately haven't had any circulation problems or seen them listed on symptoms of hyper. I do have the sensation of ants biting me a few times a day and have been told this is neurological. So i am probably not much help.
You may go hypo again, I have no idea! I am hyper and have been told I will probably go hypo as my thyroid will eventually burn itself out. Did you go hypo because of your meds? Or I have veard you can have post-partum thyroiditis - go hyper for a while, this condition usually corrects itself (I've read). Good luck figuring it all out.

Hi Did your doc test your levels again?Have you told your doc about the symptoms you are having now?It sounds like your symptoms could be coming from your thyroid. They feel like circulation problems, but they are coming from the neurologial side effects of the thyroid. If you have a good endocrinologist they would know this.If you don't have an appointment all ready make one on Monday, this needs to seen in to,and quick.Take Care.Raven33
