is it safe to consider surgury  has fna will get results tuesday, however Goiter is pushing on Wind pipe and several nodules throughout I was told I can to surgurey Now or later I am 46 and this growth was first noted in 1999 never told surgurey was an option or nodules would continue to grow had back pain and found tumor on spine on L-2 vertebrate  fear its from thyroid noduled  """"if  so""" how SAFE is it to have surgury if problem has mestastsize   SPREADED to other area???
or will they suggest other treatments

Hard to give specific advice -- the L-2 vertebral growth is not likel related to the throid nodules.  Certainly the FNA was appropriate.  Thyroid surgery is indicated for suspicious FNA results OR consistent compressive symptoms.
