so-it is possible to have a goiter without testing positive for antibodies?What about thyroid symptoms-can you have them also without testing positive?thank you

yes - goiter can occur without antibodies - symptoms from large goiters, hypo or hyper can also occur without antibodies.

about 10% of hashi patients (proven by biopsy) are antibody negative)
