low "normal" tsh

I was diagnosed hypothyroid about 18 months ago and have been on 75mcg of replacement for about the last year. I just had my TSH tested and it is 0.6. But I am having very loose stools, achy legs, some hair loss and itching on the soles of my feet. It is reminiscent of how I felt once when the TSH was at 0.1 which is considered hyperthyroid. Would it be unreasonable to lower the dose of levothyroxine I’m taking even though 0.6 is in the “normal” range. When my TSH was 1.1 I felt pretty good. Were I your patient and if lowering the dose is an appropriate approach, what would you lower the dose to? Thank you!

It would be fine in these cases to ask your doctor to lower the dose to keep the TSH in the 1-3 range.
