I have had Raynards(sp) for years.A few months ago I dx with hashimotos I have a large goiter that is getting bigger. My question is since I have now two autoimmune disease am i at risk for getting more? If so what should I be doing to protect myself.

I am having surgery on my goiter in May will I still be at risk for autoimmune disease after that is done.

Thank you

You may be at slightly higher risk for more.  Removing the goiter, won't change the risk of non-thyroid autoimmune disease.
