resurfacing of symptoms

I was diagnosed with Graves in October of 2007.  I went on 15 mg of methimazole, 50 mg of metroprolol and 30 mg of celexa.  I also take Calcium Magnesium and Vitamin D daily.  Since December, I have felt great.  The doctor recently took me off of the beta blocker.  I went to Utah for a high stress tournament with little sleep for 8 days, quit the beta blocker and I picked up a cold all at the same time.  Since I have come back,  the anxiety symptoms I previously experienced have returned.  I wake up with nausea and loose bowels.  I take my meds in the morning.  By late afternoon or early evening, I begin to feel better.  I am 47 years old and quite possibly perimenopausal.

Would retest thyroid labs to see where things are - the stress may have worsened the graves.  Sometimes going off beta-blocker can cause some withdrawal palpitations and anxiety, so if thyroid labs stable consider asking your doc about restarting b-blockers and slowly weaning them off.
