Am i either always hyper or hypo or is there a constant?

My tsh went from ..006 in sept. to 240 in november and now down to 28 last week. My free T4 and T3 are now both in normal range. Started to have racing heart last few days. Doc said to stop with the cytomel but contiue with 125 synthroid. I dont have a thyroid and my numbers change so quickly that im afraid of diving back into hyperthyroidsm. Is there a point that my tsh/t4/t3 will remain constant or is it a continous game of back and forth playing with dosage? I have always been hyperthyroid due to Graves, radiation sent me into hypo. Thanks

It will take some time to find the right balance but eventually you will have normal levels on appropriate replacement medication.

good luck to you.  my tsh went up into the low 90s in september -- but that was because of my getting food poisoning 3 times in a row within a week.  the things i got sick on were high in bromide.  3 weeks later, after it all worked its way out of my system, it dropped back down to around 8.

i am now on a gluten free diet.

blessings to you and yours.
