FNAB results suggest surgery?

I recently had a FNAB and my results were as follows, ATYPIA of undetermined significance. Follicular cells, predominately benign appearing with Focal Cytologic and Architectural Atypia. I've had 3 opinions and all 3 suggest surgery to have my thyroid removed. I want to be absolutely positive before I go through with surgery. What's your opinion? Thank you.

WAIT -- IF this is a smaller nodule (<3-4cm) without symptoms and without over suspicious ultrsound features, then: first, have the slides sent for expert second opin.  If still ACUS (Atypical cells of undet sig) then consider one of two options: surgery (remember ACUS means only 5-10% risk cancer) or repeat FNA 2-3months after first using AFIRMA testing.
