Graves & Clomid

Hello,
I have been trying to conceive for a while now with my third child. I was diagnosed with Graves Disease a few years after having my second child.  I am on 10 mg of methimazole (generic for tapzole, in which I know is not safe for pregnancy so I am going to ask my doc to switch). I am wondering is prescribed to me, is it safe to take clomid (clomiphene) while having graves disease. I do have thyroid anti bodies.

Thank you!

The current recommendation is to use methimazole until conception, then change to PTU for first trimester then back to methimazole -- all along using the lowest possible doses to keep levels in the high-normal range.  No contra-indication w/ clomiphene.
