Hashimoto's History

Hi Dr. Lupo.  My sister is a patient of yours, diagnosed with a goiter as well as Hashimoto's Disease and I am now exhibiting the same exact symptoms as she initially had.  I have been diagnosed with a goiter and my thyroid ultrasound from last week came back as my thyroid is enlarged.  I called to make an appointment with your office, but was told that I needed to have lab work done first.  This is where my problem comes in... My PCP is refusing to order a thyroid panel.  Is there any way that you can assist in me getting an appointment with either you or Dr. Geck as my sister raves that the two of you are the best in the state?
