Postpartum Thyroiditis

Since the birth of my son 4 months ago, I have experienced increasing bouts of general anxiety, fatigue, restlessness, inability to concentrate and mild/moderate hair loss.
My DR brushed off my worries about thyroid and wants to put me on an anti-depressent for the anxiety.
I worry that I am exhibiting signs of postpartum thyroiditis.
Are these enough symptoms to garner further consideration?

Would test thyroid. This is a perfect time frame/situation for post-partum thyroid problems -- definitely get tested.
