Spot on Pons Adrenal and thyroid not right

A few months ago I had facial numbness on the right side only.  It felt like I had a novacaine shot to numb my mouth for dental work.  I could still feel hot and cold and touch but the feeling would not go away.  It spread to almost the entire side of the face.  Now it comes and goes as far as intensity and moves around the right side.  MRI showed a spot on the pons.  The radiologist said a pontine stroke but neurologist said not.  The numbness came on gradually in a span of  weeks.  I also have had a low grade fever found when I went to the ER for the numbness. The fever is still there.  I am assured that this is the trigeminal nerve but there is no pain. The neurologist blood test, spinal and MRA (brain and coratid) show nothing so sent to GP.  He ran more test.  My thyroid THS is high, cortisol and acth low, cholestrol high, vitamin D low, and potassium low.  Other than the facial numbness I am tired but work odd hours and have been tired for some time.  What has me perplexed is that white area on the pons. Neurologist said it did not look right for a pontine stroke that are rare also. Could this be a pituitary tumor and could the MRI miss that?  In the recent weeks it feels like the left side of my face is beginning to do what the left side started as.  It felt chapped at first, not numb.  Another MRI scheduled in 2 weeks.  More lab test next week but no one is saying what they suspect.

It is unlikely to have missed a pituitary tumor on MRI, but the abnormal endocrine labs need to be investigated through a general endocrinology consult/evaluation.
