Thyroid Problems

I have been diagnosed with thyroid nodules in 2008.  I thought I had thyroid problems from about 2001-2004, my PCM checked my TSH's and some where supressed (hyper), although I had symptoms of hypo.  I had memory problems and seen a neuro and neurophysc.  The neuro suggested they thyroid to be checked out due to the suppressed TSH and my PCM did more TSH tests and I think the T3 or T4, if that might be correct.

Well a few years later in 2006 my Gastro during barrium swallow detected an  esophageal web at thyroid level......
has anyone had this and has it turned out to nodules in the thyroid?

The esophogeal web is not likely related to the thyroid with the exception of proximity.

A low TSH suggests hyperthyroidism and should be evaluated by an endocrinologist.  It is good your GI doc referreed you.

The end was kind of misworded.

What I meant........has anyone gone undiagnosed by their PCM so never referred to a Endo, then a Gastro see's the web during a EGD, Barrium Swallow or something?  I love my Gastro Doc to death and if it was not for him I would have gone undiagnosed for a long time. But thanks to my Gastro I've been referred to Endo and for a few years have been treated.
