Thyroid and Heart Palpations

Hello, I have had a good portion of my thyroid remove when I had to have goiter removed. I have read that sense I had this surgery, I would be hypo and would have to take Syntheroid forever. However I keep getting heart palpation's that last for like an 45 mins. I want to know if there are some things to avoid? it is so uncomfortable. Any suggestions, please help.

Should repeat test your thyroid levels to make sure this is normal, other typical of things that trigger palpitations include stress, alcohol, tobacco and caffeine.
