Tyroid hypoechoic nodule - hoarseness

Diagnosed with astrocytoma of optic chiasm 10 yrs ago.  Surgery followed by radiation.  Currently diagnosed with panhypopituitarism.  Tumor has returned, but stable for the last 8 years.  

Developed neck pain (ache) on left side of throat for past several months.  Two months ago I became hoarse, which has not gone away.  Endo ordered ultrasound of thyroid.  

Results:  thyroid gland is small.  left measures 6.6mm x 1.2cm x 3.3cm (3 dimensions).  Right lobe measures 1.1 x 1.1 x 3.3cm.  Isthmus measures 1.9mm in width.  echogenicity of gland is normal.  A single non-dominant solid nodule is present withing the posterior mid-right thyroid lob emeasureing approx 5mm in diameter.

Endo says everything is normal.  Should I be worried?  What about the hoarsenes or maybe metastisis from previous tumor?

The nodule is tiny and not likely to cause symptoms.  the thyroid is normal in size otherwise.  The nodule needs repeat ultrasound in 12 months.  would see an ENT for laryngoscopy to determine cause of hoarseness.
