pituitary hyperplasia

I had asked some questions in the past regarding some abnormal bloodwork I have had.  Prolactin and cortisol levels were elevated.  I have had all the neccessary tests and nothing has shown up, also my labs have over many weeks returned to normal.  I was speaking to an endocrinologist that I have worked with for years ( I am a nurse) and he said he was just postulating, but thought about pituitary hyperplasia?  What is this?  What causes it and how is it diagnosed and is it a treatable condition.

Thank you.

Overgrowth of the pituitary.  It's not my area of expertise, suggest talking to your endo.
