pressure under adams apple

ive recently been have trouble swallowing with the feeling of something in my throat just under my adams apple, this is more obvious if i tilt my head bak i can feel the "pressure" pushing against my throat, i also have been getting frequent "mild" headaches and heart palps. I have a appointment in a month but should i ask for a complete thyroid test? your info is appreciated.

It may be a thyroid nodule -- ultrasound would help with this.  In these cases the blood tests are usually normal, but with the heart palpitations, worth testing thyroid function.
