can i donate kidny?? when hyperthyroid

hi there

I'm Rishal, from kerala age 23,, I'm suffering from hyperthyroid, my parants found this disease when i was 2 year old
because i was showing some simptoms like abnormal size of head, tongue was always outout, and excess of saliva..

doctor priscribed (prescribed) me to take electroxine, it helped me to be everything normal.

no my questione is i wish to donate my kidny to my relative she need kidny transplantation. can i give mine??
will it make any problem to me in future?? if yes how much persent it may leads to danger??

I am not sure as this is a patient to patient community. You can either try Dr. Lupos Expert Forum or there also is a Transplant Community here at MedHelp. Go to the top of the page and click on "forums" and it is listed alphabetically!

I hope your relative gets a transplant soon and that you are able to donate.

PS: There were two posts .. one says HYPER and the other says HYPO .. two different conditions .. not sure which one you clinically have.
