22 weeks pregnant with low tsh

by rhondajett, Dec 20, 2008 12:30AM
I'm 22 weeks pregnant and have low tsh.  Have been tested since 12 weeks and slowly tsh is going up -- now .19.  I have never had any symptoms and my endocrinologist says there is nothing to worry about. ( Normal ft4, t4 and t3)  I am nervous it my make the baby have a lower IQ. Could It? Before becoming pregnant never had a problem.  I am 19 years old if that matters.

This discussion is related to effects of Low TSH during pregnancy to baby?.

I wouldn't stress about the IQ of the baby. I don't think you have to worry about that.

Hormones swing up and down during a pregnancy - rely on your doctor's word on this - I think your in good hands.
