My TSI antibodies for GravesGraves disease Disease was over 4000 was RAI was done.
14 months after RAI and Thyroidectomy, my labs came back last month as <0 undetectable.
I would say you have GravesGraves disease Disease with TSI...as that is thyroid stimulating immuniglobin.
Am I right?
Yes SmilerDeb. That is the correctCorrect (new formula) test i am glad you know what i mean, eveyrone seems to think i am typing it wrong maybe and meaning TSHPituitary and tsh Tsh, I have no idea I am so confused he said hashimotos. my t3 and t4 is within range I think with that number alone he diagnosed that. Maybe My doctor is wrong that wouldnt surprise me at all I am looking into finding another. by the way, Is this how i write back to someone just put it as another post?
Your posting was good.
In regards to your antibodies.......if your TSI is that high then you have Graves.
I may be wrong and correct me if I am but your antibodies are burning out your thyroid.
Be careful to watch your levels FT3 and FT4 as you may go hyper at any time.
And No.....TSI is the testing for Graves only...you did get the test right (TSI).
TSH is a completely different test.
You can have Hashimoto's (which would explain your high TSH).
TSI's can be positive in both Graves and Hashimotos, but more common in Graves.
I have highTSI (thyroid stimulating immunoglobulins), but also peroxidase antibodies, too. I have Hashimotos. Some people are hyperthryoid first (Graves) and then thyroid burns out and become hypothyroid.
Can I ask what is your dose of levo ?
