I have been on synthroid for 14 years with my current dose at 125 mg and two weeks ago, my blood pressure was running 165/110 with some chest discomfort.  My doctors ran a stress test which was normal but I think my high blood pressure is related to my hypothyroidism.  My doctors say no, but I don't have any other answer to explain the spike in my pressure.  What do you think?

I don't know now.  I am having them checked on Thursday.  I have them checked yearly and the last time was June 07 which were OK.
