Antithyroied microsomal antiboody levels?

Hi

I just reInternceived my test results from my ENDO.
Ultrasensitive TSH is .33
The free T4 is 2.1
Antibody (RIA) level is 4
and the one I am really confused about is-Antithyroid microsomal antiboody level is 25,600.

Left lobe slightly irregular and enlaged approx. 21/2 x normal size.

Right lobe was removed in '83.

Diagnosis Hashimoto's Tyroiditis

Changed medication from Levothyoid to leveoxyl but same dosage of 125mcg.

Internist had put me on 175mcg pervious to ENDO visit three weeks later and ENDO thought this was to huge of a jump.

Does anyone know much about this disease aned especially the antibody level of 25,600.

Thanks

Hope everyone here is doing well!

What are your Labs reference range and what is you FT-3??  Are these readings 6 weeks after starting meds. dose, and, are these levels with the 175 or  the 125 dose??  They look hyper high to me, but of course, depends on your Labs range.

MICROSOMAL AB is an old test and  now is measured by antibody called thyroidperoxidase antibody - TPO Ab Test.
It does not mean that a person is hypothyroid. Some middle aged women will have this antiperoxidase antibody, but few will have an underactive thyroid from the condition. So the tendency for Hashimoto

I had hashi's and have taken noni and mangosteen juice for several months.  My last visit to the doc yielded no thyroid antibodies anylonger.  Now I have to try to get off these meds.... I'm no expert, but if I were you I'd do a search on the websites "mangosteen and thyroid" or "noni juice and thyroid" and see what kind of results others are getting on these juices. cb
