Any Hypo Female been diagnosed with ovarian cyst
Having abnormal bleeding and had a pelvic ultrasound, I got the results back and the Dr. said I have an ovarian cyst. I follow up in 6 weeks to re-check. Anyone out there have this problem? Thanks G
I have a ovarian cysts, as well as thyroid issues. I would like to know if they are connected-too.
I have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) and am also Hypothyroid. Even though I do not get the multiple cysts or have the high testosterone associated with PCOS I do have other markers for it. My sister is also hypothyroid and has been to the ER on several occasions for painful cysts. Over the years of dealing with both I've read a lot about the connection to the two. There are a number of patients who have to deal with both. If you have PCOS (not sure if you do or if the cyst was an isolated instance) there is evidence that the two are related although I haven't seen much on why.
