I think it is more likely something shows suspicious and turns out benignBenign ear cyst or tumor Benign positional vertigo than the other way around but if you have doubts you can always send your slides out for a 2nd opinion and the Dr. Forum has listed several places that are top notch. That is a thought.
My FNA was suspicious for Follicular cancer and both nodules came back totally benign BUT 48hrs later the final biopsy found 2 small areas of papillary carcinoma elsewhere in the removed gland. They were fully encapsulated and no lymph node involvement. I was shocked but now doing just fine with it.
