Ok, figured out what's going on. I woke up today, feeling perfectly fine. No nervous, jittery, shaking condition. When my hormone levels are out of wack, such as recent lab, my diabetes go out of wack at the same time.
Anytime adjusting my Synthroid med dose, I have to adjust my diabetic med/insulin as well, keep a close monitor of my diabetic levels. Past few day's, I adjust my diabetic insulin. Bingo !! nervous condition gone. This is the reason I state in my previous thread, symptom comes and goes or cycles.
Important info for those with thyroid/diabetes disease.
Hi Barb, I stopped taking T3 awhile back, believe around April, in fear of going hyper. Cause VA physician's rarely test FT3.
TSH = 6.44 (.34 - 5.6)
FT4 = .96 (0.57-1.64)
Aren't you on a T3 med, as well T4?
Hi, thanks for feedback. I quit smoking 4 months ago, after 38 years. Which may be contributing to nervous condition. Nicotine withdrawal.
Been taking Gaia Kava for 3 day's, my body is finally calm. Thank goodness. But making me feel very tired, I've been sleeping 12 hours at a time, past few day's.
Barb, I truly believe hormone balance is the cause, although I've felt well to function normal on a daily basis past year, don't believe my levels are optimal. Reason condition comes/goes, as my levels flucuate or maybe my body is sensitive to meds, such as Synthroid. Doc will not try natural. Other then nervousness or anxeity, I have no symptoms. I've never had a nervous condition my entire life, till my thyroid was yanked.
Forgot to mention that no matter what you take for anxiety, it's best to try to get some type of therapy to try to find and eliminate the underlying cause of anxiety... It can be, simply, the hormonal imbalance or it could be something completely unrelated.
Hormone levels will need to be gotten under control and that can't happen by testing only TSH. Your TSH was higher than normal, indicating that FT3 and FT4 might be too low in the ranges for you...You need to get those tested, as well.
I was on a small dose of anti-anxiety med for a couple of years when my thyroid hormone levels were out of whack and anxiety was a major issue. There's nothing wrong with it, if you need it... it doesn't have to be permanent. Some herbs can be just as bad for you and can cause reactions as well, so do your research and make sure you know the ingredients and side effects of whatever you decide to take - whether it be prescription or OTC.
Anxiety can cause any number of symptoms. One of the possible symptoms for some people are nosebleeds due to temporary spikes in blood pressure which may damage blood vessels and lead to bleeding).
I am anti drug so if I can find a natural product that does the job then I'll be trying it out. I have found Brauer's Nervatona Focus is excellent for anxiety. I used to spray it under my tongue and it worked in minutes. Amazing stuff. I live in Australia so this product probably isn't available overseas. There is a similar product available worldwide called Bach's Rescue Remedy. I'd recommend the sublingual spray.
Since correcting a long list of reasons for anxiety I felt some improvement but it took two months of exercising half an hour a day to be calm central. When I stop exercising that calm feeling starts to vanish.
In addition, don't know if it's anxeity or overload of adrenaline. My hormone levels have gone out of wack before, I've been in hyper state and never felt this type of body tension, muscle tightness/stiff, hot/cold, sweat, tingling, etc....
I've never experienced this much body tension, best way to describe is, falling out of a plane with no parachute or drinking 50 cups of coffee. Feeling will last a few hours, then calm, but nervous condition is consistent.
