Armour VS Syntroid

by Keeper1, Aug 14, 2008 11:25AM
I'm presently taking .75mg Syntroid and want to start Armour. Should I stop taking Syntroid for 2 weeks before using Armour. I was told Syntroid stays in your system 2 weeks. Also does anyone know the equivalence in grain of Armour to .75mg Syntroid. Can anyone help.

I went right from my dose of .150 (or .175) mcg - I can't remember which  - to my Armour only in a 2 day waiting period.

You dosage of Armour should start out around 1 grain if you don't want to wait. Then two weeks after taking the Armour you should increase to about 75mgs.

Then test.

Why if I may ask - do you want to make the change?
