Armour withdrawal symptoms only after 1 day?

The Dr. thought Cytomel would be better for me but I was started on Armour because the Dr. thought Cytomel might give me palps because I am sensitive to them. After 2 months of being on 30 mgs. I started having added anxiety, like muscle twitches in my face and shakiness. So Dr. said stop meds.
I only took 15 mgs on Wed. and then none yesterday and all I wanted to do is sleep. Is this normal when stopping armour? I've only been on it for 2 months so I didnt think I would have withdrawal symptoms, should I take 15 today for a few days and then  stop? I am so tired I can hardly do anything. I wasnt this bad before starting the meds.

I'm sorry now that I read my post it is confusing.

OK - your post is confusing.

Cytomel is a T3 ONLY med

Armour is a T3/T4 combo med.

I never heard of a doctor ONLY Rxing Cytomel without a T4 medication with it.

Now if you are only on Cytomel. - Cytomel is a very short lived medication for a T3 supplement hormone. This means if you are not taking it consistantly every 4 hrs - your thyroid levels with drop and swing up and down. You will spike with hyper within 2 hours and then crash until the next dose cycles you again.

It's very hard to regulate on Cytomel alone. There should be no withdrawals on this med. Only hyper and hypo symptoms will happen with you are not stable.

Go back to Armour. You can't manage anything alone on just Cytomel.
