thank you for answering me. It is more likely to have benign thyroid nodules when you have some type of thyroid conditions,I have none so that worries me more. But I did find posts from 9 women on thyroid message boards who also didn't have any thyroid conditions and their blood tests were normal but they had benign nodules anyway. Tipper Gore wife of the former vice president Al Gore had a benign nodule removed in 1999 after two inconclusive biopsies and the CNN article which is still online says her blood tests were normal and her thyroid was functioning normally. I just really hope I'm in this category too!
