The Dr. says there are no symtoms after treatment. I still have radio sounds like hi pitch ringing in my ears.can this be the effects from the radio active iodine treatment  long after drinking that stuff. They say it sopose to burn it to slow down over activity in thyroid. i wish i had got a second dr. openion.should dr's suggest other ways to treat this. Talkback49yrs.

RAI is used by patients other than cancer.  I'm not sure if it is for hyper or hypo, but I think hyper.  Someone will answer your question soon, I'm sure.
