Aspirin and FNA

Arg!  I just got a call from the nurse about the FNA testing on Wednesday.  I take an aspirin once a day to keep new strokes away.  She said "Uh oh..." she is afraid the radiologist may re-schedule because of the aspirin.  I wish I had known to discontinue it before the FNA.  I'm grateful they asked, I don't want complications.  And perhaps it isn't too late.  I've just had to really mentally prepare for the FNA and am ready to have it done with.
I also sort of wish I had asked if it was o.k. if they could give me something so I wasn't so anxious that day-but I didn't.

I know...It isn't going to be all that bad...but I still break out in a sweat if I think about it.
Thank you for listening!

My doc says it will take 3 days to get my results back!  He usually makes an appt. with his patients immediately after any procedure, but as it takes a few days-he wants me to call every day until the results are in.
I'm much less anxious today about tomorrow.  I'd rather have the biopsy and have a plan than keep guessing!  :o)
It has helped to share all my turmoil here on the board too.
Thank you!

It isn't that bad ..... the needle @ the dentist is WORSE~~~~~I'm not kidding.  It is more pressure that you feel vs. pain ... if you've ever had amniocentesis for a baby it is almost identical to that, if not .... well you've heard lots of women who have had it say it isn't too bad at all.

Do you get immediate results?

I think mine was 3 days' prior to FNA no aspirin or anti-inflammatories?  Surgery was a full 10-14 days same regime.
