Beyond blood tests

I live in S Jersey. I am looking for an endocrinologist who will look beyond blood tests in treating my hypothyroidism. I am a woman, age 45 who was diagnosed 15 years ago and have been on sythroid or levoxyl since then. I feel horrible all over. I know it's my thyroid. I finally talked my new young primary doc into letting me try armour (lowest dose) but he doesn't want to follow my case. He told me to go to a specialist. I have been to a few (male) endos over the years but noone listens to me and how lousy I feel. They just look at those frikin' blood tests. Have you a suggestion of who I can see? I tried Dr Jennings in Cherry Hill but he relied on the blood tests as well. I know there is so much more to it.

If you are willing to make a daytrip to furthestmost Northern tip of NJ send me a PM .. my endo is fantastic out of this world ... LISTENS to you which is a very rare thing and coordinates with my primary doc and the entire group of specialists under one roof are all paperless and use electronics for prescriptions, etc. It is so so efficient and most of all she listens and always returns calls asap and bloodwork is called the same day with results as it comes in ..yes, too good to be true ... but it is real!
