Bi Polar with thyroid Goiters

How many of you posters with thyroid goiters are bi polar?I am taking informal poll.I was a little upset when I found out that bi polar people tend to develope thyroid problems and why I hadnt been tested.Now I am Bipolar and thyroidless.Ok I know I am venting here after the horse has left the barn.AND as soon as I get on right dosage of hormone pill I will be ok .Love Venora

My family members aren't on this forum but my daughter was rapid-cycling bipolar (mostly manic) and my sister was also bipolar (mostly depressive). Both are much more in control on Synthroid than they ever were on psychotropic drugs. My daughter is now 19 and my sister is 34.

Please let us know how you feel after your RAI and when they get your meds leveled out.
