Bloating when on only liothyronine

I am on liothyronine only for My hypothyrodism. I've been on that for 8 weeks. I have bloated a lot in those weeks. What could be the caus?
Before I was on levaxin (t4) and t3 and didn't have this problem. Decided to stop t4 since it caused a lot of problems for Me.
Weight gain and bloating wasn't one. What do I do?

Hi there!
On t3 only bloodtests will most likely show suppressed TSH, hi t3 and low t4. I monitor blood pressure and body temp and use symptoms and signs instead.
I have improved my health a lot on t3 only. The bloating is better since I increased my doses.

The tests used when on T4 meds "are" the ones needed while on T3.  There are no other thyroid function tests.

There are any number of things that can cause your bloating, including having either too much or too little thyroid hormones.

It's very rare for someone to be on a T3-only med.

What are your actual thyroid hormone levels?  You should be tested for Free T3, Free T4 and TSH.  Be sure to include reference ranges with any lab results, since ranges vary lab to lab and have to come from your own report.
