Blood Work- Best time to draw

I am going tomarrow to have t4 and THS. Is there a best time to have the blood drawn. I had it tested about a month ago THS was at 18 . Dr increased synthroid from 100 to 112.  I really feel that is not enough. I'm still having hypo symtems. I guess I just want not to do something to make false readings.

Thanks ever so much for your reply. What you say makes sence but I usually take meds very early AM. The lab I go to for testing is over an hour drive one way. I guess I won't need to go again for another month or so.Thanks again.      RAS

I was on 100 mcg of synthroid and my TSH came back at 9.6 and he increased me to 150 mcg and 4 weeks later I'm at .32 and feel much better. But, I have read a lot of stuff that suggests increasing it at small increments is better because you don't want to be overmedicated. I have a feeling that my next test is going to show me hyper. Just a gut feeling.

Early morning is best, before you take your meds.

As far out of whack as you are, the time of day isn't going to make much difference. To get a comparable reading, doing it about the same time of day as the last test would be acceptable.
